Coconut Oil for Beautiful Hair and Skin

Did you know that Coconut Oil makes a great hair and skin moisturizer? It can really help with dry scalp and dandruff, especially at this time of year!
For a healing (and heavenly!) evening ritual, run yourself a relaxing bath and, while soaking in it, massage your scalp with 1-2 Tablespoons of warmed coconut oil (it will melt readily in the palm of your hand, or just from the warmth of the steamy tub). You can wrap your head with a warm, wet towel to really help the Coconut Oil penetrate your scalp while you soak, and if you can leave it on overnight, even better! (Just be sure to put a towel or cloth down on your pillow, as the oil can leave a stain.) For additional fragrant enjoyment, add 1-2 drops of Lavender essential oil to the warmed oil before applying.
For soft & glowing skin, add 1-2 Tbsp of Coconut Oil to your bath water, or apply over your whole body after bathing for deep moisturizing.
