DANDELION – “Lion’s Tooth” Herb has a lot of Bite!

Our fan, Minna, was wondering if Dandelion is as good as she’d been hearing. It is!
I include Dandelion in many formulas because it’s so beneficial to overall health. It’s especially helpful to the liver, the main organ of detoxification in our body. Keeping our liver healthy & strong, will do a lot in keeping the rest of our body strong & healthy, too.
Dandelion leaf is also excellent – it’s a mild diuretic, and very high in potassium. Try the fresh leaves lightly steamed with a little butter and lemon juice – it’s great “food as medicine”!
So, can anyone tell me how Dandelion got its name? (Hint: something about the leaves…)
