This is the time when colds & flu start to make the rounds – especially if your little ones are at school! Fortunately, many plants produce natural, powerful antiviral essential oils that can prevent the spread of airborne viruses. Here’s a great essential oil blend to put in your Nebulizing Diffuser (most effective way to disperse the oils into your environment) or steam inhalation:

•Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora) 5 drops

•Melissa (Melissa officinalis) 5 drops

•Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis ct cineol) 4 drops

•Thyme (Thymus vulgaris ct linalool) 3 drops

•Pine (Pinus sylvestris) 3 drops

•Lavender ‘True’ (Lavandula angustifolia) 6 drops

You can also add a few drops to your bath, or massage the soles of your feet or sternum bone (dilute to 3%-5% in a carrier oil for massage).
