Food Packaging Labels – Low Fat, Reduced Fat, Natural, Light, Low Sodium, Good Source of… What do they all mean?
Low Fat: This is an FDA-regulated term that means three or fewer grams of fat per serving.
Zero Trans Fat: Fewer than half a gram of trans fat per serving. The concern is that people may still be (unknowingly) eating a substantial amount of trans fat on a daily basis.
