Heartburn can be extremely painful and uncomfortable and can send one into panic mode confusing it with worse things such as a heart attack. Make sure you know the difference!
If you suffer from heartburn try eating a banana at the first signs of heartburn symptoms. Bananas have a natural counteractive component to stomach acid. Eat a fresh banana before or after meals to help relieve you of your heartburn. Over ripe bananas will not have the same effect.
