Supreme Brain Power with Brahmi

Introduced to the west from its origins in India, Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) has been used in Ayurvedic traditional medicine for thousands of years as a brain and nervous system tonic.
Brahmi literally means “that which gives knowledge of Supreme Reality.” It is often included in anti-aging formulas for its ability to maintain and improve memory function, sharpen mental acuity, and increase concentration and focus. For age-related cognitive support, it is excellent combined with Ginkgo and Gotu Kola, two other notable brain tonic herbs.
With that ‘in mind,’ it makes sense to consider this important herb when brain or nervous system support is needed. Brahmi helps to calm the mind and strengthen the nervous system, alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety, and nervousness, and promote a more relaxed state of being.
