A common problem that occurs with shaving is known as Pseudofolliculitis Barbae. It is better known as ingrown hair or razor bumps. What happens is that hair normally has a tapered tip; however, when you shave the tip is removed from the hair shaft and the growing hairs start feeling bristly.
As the hair tip begins to re-grow, its sharpness will cause it to penetrate under the skin surrounding the follicle. Inflammation and irritation generally result from this. This is the phenomenon that causes ingrown hairs, razor bumps and irritation.
Kalo Ingrown Hair Treatment combats this phenomenon by exfoliating the outer dermal layer of skin while adding elasticity to the newly exposed hair. Little by little it liberates the trapped hair from under the skin allowing it to be safely released.

Question:
What is the best way of application after shaving?...use only Kalo hair inhibitor, only Kalo ingrown hair treatment or both of them?
And is it necessary to use both of them after shaving or only one is applicable?Asked on 12/28/2011 by Anonymous from Tanzania1 answer
Answer:
We only carry the Kalo Ingrown Hair Treatment at this time. You are welcome to use Kalo Ingrown Hair on it's own or in conjunction with the inhibitor. We suggest shaving and then applying one or both of the products together. The Kalo Ingrown Hair Treatment has a cooling effect after waxing or shaving.Answered on 12/28/2011 by Coreena

Answer:
Kalo Kalo Ingrown Hair Treatment prevents ingrown hairs, but does not prevent the hair from regrowing. Please see the Dosage and Directions: http://www.naturalwellbeing.com/products/ingrown-hair-treatment#directions For that you would need a hair inhibitor product.Answered on 11/15/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
