This product gave me back my life!!!! For months I have beeen in extreme pain walking was almost in possible the pain overwhelming.. I would need help to get in from the car at night when I came home from work. I started taking 2HD in a couple of days the swelling was gone by over 70 percent and the pain was lessing. I have been taking the product for roughly a month and I don't need my pain medication and can work all night as a waitress again. My family has their Mom back. This product gave me back my life. I'm unable to take large, or even medium-sized, capsules so I had to empty the contents into a juice everytime I took it. The taste I can do without, but the night after I took my first dosage I already noticed improvements in my knees! I generally wake up with aching knees that makes it a little bit tough to get out of bed, but the next morning the ache was noticeably lower than it was prior to taking this item. I'm about half a month into taking this and it still helps to relieve many of my aching joints.

I take one capsule three times a day after meals. The product really works for me. In April 2009 I was diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis, which was causing pain in both knees. I started taking 2HD on May 18th along with practicing physical therapy exercizes, and was able to continue bicycle traning. On July 11-12, I completed the Seattle to Portland, Oregon (STP) bike ride with no knee pain (and without other pain relievers). I have had Rhumatoid Arthritis for 15 years. I dont trust doctors and although prescription medication will help, it can cause other health problems. Ingredients
Glucosamine Sulfate
Glucosamine is a precursor for glycosaminoglycans, a major component of joint cartilage. It has been widely recognized as beneficial for joint pain through several mechanisms:
- Provides anti-inflammatory action
- Stimulates proteoglycan synthesis which strengthens and repairs the cartilage matrix
- Decreases damage to cartilage and joint structures by inhibiting the synthesis of proteolytic enzymes
- Stimulates production of hyaluronic acid, an important component of synovial (joint) fluid which reduces friction between joint surfaces during movement
Chondroitin Sulfate
Like glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate is comprised of long chains of sugars and is an important part of the structural makeup of cartilage. It plays a significant role in joint health:
- Provides resilience to cartilage, enhancing its resistance to compression
- Improves the quality of the synovial fluid
- May help neutralize destructive enzymes in the joints
Methylsulfonulmethane (MSM)
MSM is a rich source of biologically active sulfur. It has been shown to help relieve the symptoms of joint pain through a natural anti-inflammatory action, though the mechanism of this action is not fully understood.
Bromelain (from Pineapple)
First introduced as a therapeutic supplement over fifty years ago, bromelain is a combination of proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzymes extracted from the stem of the pineapple. It is a natural anti-inflammatory whose action arises from its ability to block certain proinflammatory mediators. It is widely used to treat sports injuries, trauma, and stiff joints.
Boswellia Extract (standardized to 65% organic acids including boswellic acids)
Boswellia, the tree from which the essential oil (resin) of Frankincense is derived, has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for millennia to treat inflammatory joint conditions. Boswellia contains several anti-inflammatory triterpenoids collectively called ‘boswellic acids’ (BA), which inhibit proinflammatory mediators in the body (5-lipoxygenase and leukotrienes). Four different triterpene acids are carefully standardized in this formulation. Studies have revealed a very positive synergistic effect through the combination of boswellic acids with glucosamine. The anti-inflammatory properties of glucosamine are greatly enhanced when the two ingredients are combined together.
Other Ingredients: Gelatin, silicon dioxide, cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Both the capsules of the Joint Relief 2HD and the Hair Essentials are 3/4 of an inch in length; larger than the average sized tablet. If you have issues swallowing these capsules, you are welcome to open the capsules and empty the contents into a drink or even yogurt to consume. This will be digested and absorbed into your system the same way, so it does not affect the product at all - just do not add any high heats to the contents of the capsule. Hair Essentials does not have any known side effects and can be safely used in the long-term basis. The only cautionary note for this product is that it is not recommended for use if you have had, or are at risk for, a hormone-related cancer. Joint relief does not have any cautionary notes (except that it contains shellfish).
