Ingredients
L-Lysine HCl: Lysine is an essential amino acid, which means that the body is unable to manufacture it and it must be obtained through the diet or by supplementation. Research has shown that lysine decreases replication of the virus associated with cold sores and blisters, which may lessen the severity of outbreaks and their duration.
Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) (leaf): Known as “creosote bush” for its distinctive, creosote-like odor, Chaparral contains the compound NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid). NDGA is a powerful antioxidant and anti-tumour compound.Chaparral has excellent antimicrobial (including antiviral) properties, making it very useful for viral infections such as those that cause cold sores and blisters.
